Ohio Advocacy for Fair School Funding is a nonpartisan group of voters, taxpayers, and advocates committed to ensuring that every child in Ohio has access to the high-quality public education they deserve. We believe that a child’s opportunities should not be determined by their zip code.
Our Mission
Our mission is to educate Ohioans, strengthen public engagement, and advocate for the full and ongoing implementation of the Fair School Funding Plan.
We support a school-funding system that:
- Uses current and accurate educational costs
- Provides resources based on students’ needs
- Fairly divides responsibility between the state and local communities
- Reduces overreliance on local property taxes
- Is transparent, predictable, and sustainable
- Provides students across Ohio with meaningful educational opportunities
